Commander Ahmed Tijjani Abdullahi hails from Niger State and obtained his first and second degrees in Sociology from the University of Abuja and Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye Ogun State, Nigeria, in 1999 and 2018, respectively.

1. The National Defence College Day Secondary School Ushafa Bwari was established by the National Defence College Governing Board on 1 August 2022. It commenced operation on26 September 2022 with the Pioneer Commandant of the school, Cdr(NN) Ahmed Tijjani Abdullahi. At the inception, the school began academic programme with 136 pioneer students and 30 staff comprising 3 military personnel, 22 teaching staff and 5 non-teaching staff.
2. The school was established to provide quality and affordable education for the children of personnel and the host community.
3. The school is at present operating on a temporary site and is in the second academic session since its establishment.
